General 'Fishy' pics...........
Some pictures of our catches from Woodlands Lake, Forty Hall taken on 5/8/2010
and 12/8/2010 pegs 21 and 24 respectively.
Our first visit on 5/8 was slow as we are new members and were not familiar with this venue. In spite of this we did manage to catch a nice Common each plus Roach totalling 10 lb in weight over 6 hours (we could have caught more but were not really fishing for them).
Our second visit on the 12/8 peg 21 was more successful. I (Mike) caught 3 nice commons one at 16.5 lbs :) I also had two fish lost almost at the net due to my own carelessness and sons impatience! My son managed a nice common at 12 lb. A successful day with only the occasional bursts of rain. Hair rigged sweetcorn and 8ml halibut pellets over thinly scattered freebies appeared to work well.
